TEFAF New York Fall

Saturday 28 October–Wednesday 1 November 2017

Mullany is delighted to announce that this October we will be exhibiting at TEFAF New York Fall. Following its universally acclaimed American debut in 2016, TEFAF, the world’s leading art fair based in Maastricht, returns to the Park Avenue Armory for what is already recognised as the most important fair in the United States for old master art.

Following the most rigorous of selection procedures, some 90 only of the world’s leading galleries will present the highest quality fine and decorative art from antiquity to 1920.

Like TEFAF Maastricht, TEFAF New York Fall is unequalled in its level of quality and in the methods it employs to establish the authenticity of every work of art on offer. The vetting system involves multiple international experts in numerous categories, who examine every work of art presented at the fair for quality, authenticity and condition, ensuring that you can buy with the greatest possible confidence.

Nowhere else in the United States will you find such an elegantly displayed selection of genuine masterpieces from the world’s most prestigious art and antiques dealers which have been so thoroughly scrutinised. Having introduced a new international standard of excellence, TEFAF New York Fall is an unmissable event for collectors and curators.

TEFAF New York Fall takes over the entire Armory building, utilising both the Drill Hall, as well as its distinctive and recently restored period rooms on the first and second floors. We look forward to welcoming you on our booth 92 situated on the first floor at the end of the right hand aisle as you enter the venue.

Mullany returns to Paris

Saturday 10 September–Sunday 18 September 2016

Mullany is pleased to announce that this September we will be exhibiting for the second time at one of the most spectacular art and antiques fairs in the world today – the Biennale des Antiquaires set in the magnificent surrounds of the Grand Palais in Paris. Having participated in 2012, Mullany returns for the 28th edition of the fair and the first of what will now be, the current name notwithstanding, an annual event on the international calendar.

Conceived in 1956 as a celebration of beauty, luxury and lifestyle, the Biennale des Antiquaires has long been recognised for hosting the most prestigious international art and antique dealers specialising in a wide selection of the finest objects. Organised by the S.N.A. (Syndicat National des Antiquaires Négociants en Objets d'Art Tableaux anciens et modernes de France), exhibitors have been invited to participate this year following the most rigorous of selection procedures overseen by an independent international committee chaired by Mr Henri Loyrette, former Director of the Musee du Louvre. All invitees are members of the S.N.A. guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of the works presented.

The carefully conceived scenography by stage designer Nathalie Crinière will compliment a superb cross section of artworks of the highest quality. On display under the iconic glass roof amongst a magical setting of pavilions, gardens and fountains will be a breath taking selection of objects including sculpture and works of art from all periods, archaeological rarities, armour, furniture, old master paintings, European and oriental porcelain, silver, tribal art, books, tapestries, coins, medals and jewellery all of which have been the subject of strict vetting criteria. Presented for the first time also will be three exceptional museum exhibitions: highlights from the Hermitage Museum and the Musée du Mobilier National, as well as a tribute to the history of the measurement of time from the sundial to contemporary complicated mechanisms curated by La Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, Genève. With a renewed focus on art and antiques and less emphasis on haute joaillerie than in recent years, 123 exhibitors from 14 countries and an anticipated 100,000 visitors including museum curators and collectors from around the globe, the 2016 edition of the fair promises to be a truly outstanding showcase of the finest quality objects in an atmosphere of elegance, refinement and celebration.

We look forward to welcoming you on our stand N03 situated in the Nave in the first aisle on the right hand side as you enter the Grand Palais.
